Dedication to Special Education
is an all-volunteer parent organization committed to improving special education in Marin County. Since 1997, we have raised over $1.7 million in direct support of classrooms and equipment. In 2001, in partnership with Marin Office of Education, we created the Technology Resource Center of Marin, where all children with disabilities can access the best technology has to offer. TRC of Marin receives no government funding, and depends entirely on money raised by Dedication to Special Education.

Dedication to Special Education is a community partnership in every way. While our corporate and individual sponsors make the work possible financially, the Marin County Office of Education is the vehicle through which our work is accomplished. The Marin County Office of Education acts as our fiscal sponsor, while we make the decisions on how the money we raise will be spent to help the children.
