Leigh and LindaParent Connections Meetings

It's helpful to be able to talk with other parents about our challenges. Meeting and connecting with other parents is a backbone of the DSE community. Each month we get together over coffee and what happens can be amazing and extremely helpful. Sharing our experiences, asking our questions about ANYTHING, exploring possibilities, finding shoulders to cry on, laughing about the stuff that only we can laugh about -- all of it.

There is no better community support for when we hit a bump in the road (and we all have hit many bumps!). Our strength is in our number of committed families working together for each other and for our children.

Join us for these informal gatherings. Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry, we get answers to our questions, and always there are open hearts and helping hands.

EVENING MEETINGS: 7pm-9pm, Second Tuesday Monthly at Cafe Verde, 502 Tamalpais Dr, Corte Madera.

DATES: March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9

Connecting Families of Older Kids

New! We recognize a need for families to come together to face the common challenges ahead for our older kids. Applying for SSI benefits, to conserve or not to conserve (and how to do it), housing, what happens when we age out of the school system -- let's combine our wisdom and navigate these waters together. Stay tuned for announcements on specific meeting dates and times.
