Community Building and Innovation for Special Education in Marin County Public Schools

The Mission of Dedication to Special Education is to improve the quality of special education in Marin County public schools, while connecting families for a stronger community.

Our vision is a partnership where parents, educators, and the wider community work together on behalf of the over 4000 students receiving special education services.  DSE is run by an Executive Committee made up of parent volunteers and in partnership with the Marin County Office of Education, our fiscal and legal sponsor.

Our fundraising maintains a grants program, provides trainings, and supports the Technology Resource Center of Marin in order to enhance educational opportunities for teachers and students.

There is no greater gift.  DSE is proof of the impact a community coming together can have on education.
